Who is Michael Flores?
I began freelancing as a graphic designer in Texas throughout my collegiate career at Tarleton State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in digital media studies. I am driven by a passion for creating visual identities that resonate with each unique client collaborated with. I study a craft to blend creativity with strategic intent to deliver designs that not only captivate but also communicate.
My path to success
There are billions of faces in the world, each with a unique story waiting to be seen. I’m passionate about creating powerful visual introductions that communicate who people are and what they contribute to society. Through visual communication, I help bring these identities to life—and I take great pride in delivering work that meets my clients’ goals. But for me, it goes beyond simply completing a file. I create with intention, aiming for my craftsmanship to resonate with the public and reflect the meaning and purpose my clients envision for their designs.
I have learned a great deal as a Digital Media student in the excellent College of Liberal and Fine Arts at Tarleton State University. My minor in Business has complemented my ability to effectively market not only my work, but also myself and others. My versatile skill set is most impactful when paired with strong business strategies—because behind every logo, rebrand, business card, infographic, flyer, or visual asset lies a message that deserves thoughtful representation.
In addition to my academic development, I served as an active and effective member of my college organization and played a key role in the governance of campus Greek Life. These experiences sharpened my leadership, collaboration, and communication skills while reinforcing the value of community engagement and organizational structure—skills that directly enhance my professional and creative work.
